Nigerian Women's Bobsleigh

Be Inspired by The Nigerian Women’s Bobsleigh Team

Have you ever seen the movie Cool Runnings?  – https://g.co/kgs/2EAj6Y –  A movie loosely based on the true story of the Jamaica national bobsleigh team‘s debut in competition during the 1988 Winter Olympics in CalgaryAlbertaCanada. (source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cool_Runnings). If you haven’t, grab a copy and watch. It shows clearly how the determination to succeed can get you there.

Anyway, this tops that. There I was one day being a bit of a couch potato, watching CNN, as you do. Up popped an Africa Voices feature on how A team of Nigerian women has formed the first Nigerian’s Women’s Bobsled team. Guess what? They had qualified for the February 2018 Winter Olympics being held in South Korea. Now if that is not inspiring I don’t know what is.

The individual women, Seun Adigun, Akuoma Omeoga, Ngozi Onwumere, are inspiring in their own right but put them together and they take it to another level.

Watching and learn.

I hope you get inspired as I did.

xoxo
